If you sense the call of Soul, the longing for answers, for the heart of God, to experience your
own true nature, then Soul Travel is a way to explore and maybe fulfil this longing
Ever dreamt you were flying in full
consciousness? Ever had an instant
knowingness about what to do in an
unfamiliar situation? Soul Travel is more real
than what we call reality; it is a shift in
consciousness that allows you to experience
yourself as Soul, a divine spark of God.We come into this world with a lot of
baggage, the physical body for one, the
emotions and the mind –these are our
suitcases packed with lessons that we as Soul
need to learn from and they are also the tools
that will assist us in learning those lessons. In
addition, we have a long history of other
lives, some of which have a say in shaping
the current life. All this baggage acts like coloured glass through which your true self,
Soul, must view life – and make the best of
it, like learning to discern truth for yourself.”
A measure of what is true for you must
always be, does it work for me? Does this
light me up? Do the techniques practised
bring me closer to my own spark of infinite
awareness? Feeling good and knowing
volumes of stuff doesn’t cut it on a true
spiritual path, because to learn about the
baggage you came with can be
uncomfortable at best and no amount of
intellectual knowledge can tell you what only
you need to know.
Your journey home to God, Soul returning
to Its source, is a personal one – but you are
not the only Soul on the way and some of
those who have gone before, are looking
back to assist us. These are Spiritual Masters
and they live in a state of total awareness. If
life is a school, then these Masters are the
schoolteachers. Yet, how many of us attend
this school without acknowledging the
teacher?
The term ‘Master’ has many negative
connotations in Australian society, perhaps it
is a historical issue, but a true Master is
purely a way shower, someone who guides
you to become your own Master at your own
pace. This also is a matter of experience – it
is no wonder we need many lifetimes to work
it all out.
Your spiritual journey comes down to
what you want out of life and there are no
judgements other than your own, because
God is infinite and loves you as Soul, the
same this life as the previous and the next.
But if you are ready to learn about the
spiritual universes that are as real as the
physical world, how to identify the lessons
you’ve come here to learn, look into the past
lives that affect you today and have daily
spiritual insights via the Light and Sound of
God, the Holy Spirit, then perhaps learning
about Soul Travel is for you.
The Mahanta, the Living ECK Master, Sri
Harold Klemp says in his book “Our
Spiritual Wake-up Calls”, “Soul Travel is
living life at its fullest without having to look
through any glass, clear or not. You are there.
This physical world often is looking through
a glass with smudges on it. As Soul, in Soul
body, you don’t look through a glass of any
sort. You’re there in full consciousness, which is what we try to lead you to at some
point.”
While Soul Travel can be an instant and
dramatic experience or shift in awareness, it
is likely to take some time to familiarise
yourself with the different aspects and
practises. On a daily basis, most of us are
buried in material, emotional and mental
concerns, that are needed to function
responsibly in this world. Any spiritual
practise that works in your true interest will
encourage and eventually smoothen out any
efforts that you need to make to keep these
sides of your life functioning at peak levels,
while living in expanding spiritual awareness.
So why bother? This is just an opportunity.
If you sense the call of Soul, the longing for
answers, for the heart of God, to experience
your own true nature, then Soul Travel is a
way to explore and maybe fulfil this longing
– that is all. Soul Travel doesn’t change any
outer circumstances to make your life more
palatable, but it does change you and
through you, your life. It is inevitable – you
are after all a spark of God.
Here’s a simple spiritual exercise to get you
started. Practice it before bedtime and notice
an increase in dreaming, perhaps lucid
dreaming, which is another aspect of Soul
Travel. Practice in the morning and notice
the positive and calm energy it brings forth
in you. Whenever you need a break you can
easily do this exercise. If you want to still
your thoughts or calm your emotions, you
can do it with this exercise. Sit or lie down,
making yourself comfortable. Focus your
attention lightly on the spiritual eye between
the eyebrows. In a long drawn out note sing
the word HU (pronounced as the word
Hue…).
You can do it silently or out loud. HU is an
ancient name for God and singing HU is a
love song to God.
