The question is, how do we as human beings, actualize the experience of a unified consciousness, or wholeness, in the midst of the extreme density and fragmentation in our world and within ourselves? Is human mastery a mysterious gift that is somehow bestowed unexpectedly upon rare individuals – or is it within the grasp of anyone who endeavors to experience it? Such questions are pertinent in terms of the spiritual or evolutionary journey. Let us explore the mechanics of human experience and discover what is truthful.
As multi-dimensional human beings, we are focused primarily in the dense dimensions (mental, emotional and physical), in which unified awareness is obscured and instead, separation and fragmentation are dominant. Thus, the vast majority of humanity experiences life in terms of effort, struggle, conflict and confusion. Another term for this is negative polarity imbalance. The negative polarity is simply that which is responsible for creation, diversity and “Becoming” and is therefore always dominant in the dense dimensions. The positive polarity is the non-dominant opposite which is responsible for simplification, unification and “Being” and is thus associated with the subtler dimensions. Both relative polarities are operative within every dimension of creation…. neither one is “good” or “bad”. And yet, the challenge for most of humanity is the extreme dominance of the negative over the positive. Simply stated, such imbalance is the cause of fragmentation.
With more emphasis upon the non-dominant positive polarity, balance is created and the subtler, more unified dimensions open to our awareness. We experience proportional wholeness and fulfillment as a result. Thus, the journey of human mastery is based on balance. As negative polarity imbalance is where we find ourselves, in practical terms, we need all the positive polarity emphasis we can access. How do we access the positive polarity? The primary positive polarity balancing technique is meditation. Thus, for anyone endeavoring to live with balance, first and foremost…. meditate.
Techniques of meditation are many and have been available since the dawn of humanity upon this planet. But, traditional techniques were not designed for today’s world with its extreme negative polarity dominance. Things have radically changed in the last ten thousand years! Today, electronic pollution pervades our homes and workplaces, imbalancing the human energy field. Generated by computers, cell phones and other electronic appliances including television, radio, and microwaves - as well as the massive power grids that crisscross the planet, we are under constant stress. No wonder so many people today who attempt to meditate with ancient methods experience frustration and simply abort the experience.
It was for this reason that I created a contemporary form of meditation that is based on precision technology for greater efficiency of balance and acceleration of holistic results. Synchronicity High-Tech Contemporary Meditation is the term I use for this modern, cutting edge approach and it has proven its effectiveness in hundreds of thousands of practitioners world-wide for more than twenty years. In a word…. it works.
But, meditation alone is not sufficient to create the necessary balance to fully actualize wholeness throughout a twenty-four hour day. Beyond the hour or so we may spend in meditation in a day, how do we actualize balance in the other twenty-three hours? For this, a holistic lifestyle is essential to create balance in the dense dimensions (mental, emotional and physical).
For example, we must bring the same positive polarity emphasis to our physical body through a balanced diet and regular exercise. Anyone attempting to meditate without physical balance will quickly experience that the body will not support your intention to expand awareness. Instead, you will experience restlessness and discomfort and your body will be more of a distraction than a support to your meditative practice. The same is true of the emotional and mental dimensions…. balance must be consciously created throughout a twenty-four hour day. Obviously, this takes real focus and commitment, but the result is nothing less than wholeness lived as a constant - which is what it means to be fully human. This is the progressive process of integrative wholeness that ultimately delivers human mastery.
To conclude, human mastery or wholeness is based on balance. While the terminology may vary, its mechanics are the same. And yet, we must be attentive to the times in which we live, in the understanding that Consciousness is always at the cutting edge of its evolving wholeness. Why use outmoded techniques when we have the opportunity to add precision and efficiency through the use of modern technology? “The Modern Mystic”
Master Charles Cannon, affectionately known as Master Charles, is a contemporary American mystic and master of meditation. His earliest years were marked by spontaneous, metanormal experiences of expanded, heightened and holistic states of awareness. His formative education was in the creative arts with emphasis on comparative religion and philosophy. During many years in India, under the tutelage of Paramahamsa Muktananda, one of the most acknowledged Eastern mystics of the modern era, Master Charles was fully trained in the traditional contexts of Vedic/Tantric mysticism and initiated as a Vedic monk.
In 1983, he established Synchronicity Foundation and created the Synchronicity Experience. Based on the Synchronicity Paradigm, it includes Synchronicity Contemporary Meditation and Synchronicity Holistic Lifestyle. It applies state of the art vibrational entrainment technology and leading-edge brain research to the classical art and science of meditation and holistic lifestyle. He is regarded as a master of meditation in acknowledgement of his empowering holistic presence, as well as his many years of meditation.
